Before you begin
- Ensure you have the required permissions to edit Assets in My Profile.
- Admins and Managers with the correct permissions can edit Assets for users they manage, while Users and Custom Roles can edit their own Assets if they have the necessary permissions.
Step 1. Log in and navigate to My Profile
- Log in to Plumm using a valid user account (as Admin, Manager, User, or Custom Role).
- Go to My Profile.
- In My Profile, locate the Assets section.
Step 2. Edit Assets
- Admins and Managers with the correct permissions can edit Assets in My Profile.
- If you have the required permissions, the option to Edit Assets will be visible.
- Click on Edit Assets to open the section.
- The requested information, such as:
- Device Type
- Device Name
- Serial No.
- Issued On
- Returned On
- will already be filled in.
- Update the mandatory fields, including:
- Device Type
- Device Name
- Serial No.
- Once you've updated the required fields, click Save to confirm the changes in the Assets section.
Additional Options
- You can edit more than one Asset by clicking Edit Assets and updating the relevant details for each item.
- If you no longer need an Asset, you can remove it by clicking the Delete button next to the entry.
