Before you begin

  • You must have administrative access to the Attendance section to edit locations for Geo Fencing.
  • Ensure the updated location details are accurate and the radius is suitable for the new settings.

Step 1. Edit a location for Geo Fencing

  1. Navigate to Admin > Attendance and select the Geo Fencing tab.
  2. Click on the Mobile tab to view mobile-specific Geo Fencing settings.
  3. Click the three dots (ellipsis) next to the location you want to edit and select Edit.
  4. In the Edit Location form, you can modify the following fields:
    • Name: Change the name of the location (e.g., "Jalgaon Office").
    • Search Location: Update the location name or address. For example, "Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India."
    • Radius (in meters): Modify the radius value in meters to adjust the perimeter for Geo Fencing.
  5. The map will update to show the new location, and you can visually adjust it if necessary.
  6. After making the necessary edits, click Submit to save the updated location.

The "Radius" defines the area around the selected location. Employees will only be able to clock in from within this radius. It is measured in meters.
