Edit Personal Summary in a User's Profile

This article explains how to edit the Personal Summary in a user’s profile on Plumm. It covers the permissions required for admins and how to update the details.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the required permissions to edit the Personal Summary.
If an admin user has permission, only in this case they can edit the Personal Summary; otherwise, they can only view the information.
The Personal Summary section may include information such as:
  • LinkedIn
  • Hobbies and Talents
  • Special Needs

Step 1.Log in and navigate to User's Profile

  1. Log in to Plumm using a valid user account.
  2. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of your dashboard.
  3. Select Core from the menu.
  4. Under the People section, click on My People.
  5. Click on a user's name, and from there, you can go to the Team/People Profile section.
In the Personal Summary section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.

Step 2. Edit Personal Summary

Admin users with the correct permissions can edit the Personal Summary.
  • If you have the required permissions, the option to Edit Personal Summary will be available.
  • If you do not have the necessary permissions, you will only be able to view the information.
Click on Edit Personal Summary to update the profile.
Fill in the requested details, such as:
  • LinkedIn
  • Hobbies and Talents
  • Special Needs
  • Other relevant details
There are no mandatory fields in the Personal Summary section, so you can save it without filling in any fields if desired.
Once you’ve made the necessary changes, click Save.

1.Who can edit the Personal Summary in Plumm?

 If an admin user has permission, only in this case they can edit the Personal Summary. Otherwise, they can only view the information.
 

2 . What if I can't see the option to edit the Personal Summary?

 If you don’t have admin permissions, you will only see the information in View mode. You will need to contact an admin for permission to edit the Personal Summary.
 

 

3. What information is required when editing the Personal Summary?

 There are no mandatory fields in the Personal Summary section. You can add or edit information such as LinkedIn, Hobbies, Talents, Special Needs, etc.


4. Can non-admin users edit their own Personal Summary?

Non-admin users can edit their own Personal Summary if they have permission to do so in their respective role. If they do not have the required permission, they can only view the information.
