Before you begin

  • You must have access to the Department Goals section in PlummHR.
  • Goals must be assigned to the department to appear in the export.
  • You need Excel or another compatible spreadsheet application to open the exported file.

Step 1Accessing the Department Goals Section

  1. Navigate to Goals > Department Goals from your dashboard.
  2. On the Department Goals page, review the list of goals and overall progress.

Step 2. Exporting Department Goal Data

  1. Locate the Export all data button at the top-right corner of the Department Goals page.
  2. Click Export all data.
  3. The system will generate an Excel file containing all departmental goals.
  4. The exported file will include:
    • Goal Title
    • Assigned To (team or individual)
    • Progress Percentage
    • Due Date
    • Last Updated Date
    • Status (e.g., In Progress, Completed)

Step 3. Viewing and Using the Exported File

    1. Open the Excel file using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or a compatible spreadsheet tool.
    2. You can now:
      • Filter by team, goal status, or progress.
      • Track progress across the department.
      • Share the file with leadership or stakeholders.
      • Use it for reporting, analysis, and departmental planning.

    1. How do I export Department Goal data?

     Click the Export all data button on the Department Goals page. The file will download automatically in Excel format.



    2 . What data is included in the export?

    The file includes Goal Title, Assigned To, Progress, Due Date, Last Updated Date, and Status.


     

    3. Can I export only specific departmental goals?

    No, the export downloads all goals visible on the Department Goals page. You can filter goals before exporting if needed.


    4. Do I need Excel to open the exported file?

     Excel is recommended, but you can also use Google Sheets or any compatible spreadsheet application.


    5. Can I edit the exported data?

    Yes, once exported, the data can be filtered, sorted, and modified for reporting or analysis.

    6. Does the exported file update automatically?

    No, the export is a static snapshot. You must re-export to get the latest data.


    7. What if the export button is not visible?

    Check your permissions. Only managers or users with the right access can export departmental goal data.
