Use the Global Search bar in Plumm to quickly find people or features based on your role and permissions. Clicking a result will take you directly to the related page.

Before you begin
What you can search depends on your user role:
- Super Admin: Can search all features and all people
- Admin: Can search all features and people based on permissions
- Manager: Can search people who report to them, and features they have access to
- User: Can only search features they have permission for (cannot search people)
Step 1.Use Global Search
- Go to the dashboard at https://testapp.heyplumm.com/user/dashboard
- Click the Search bar at the top of the page
- Type the name of a person (if permitted) or a feature (e.g. “Time Off”, “Performance Review”)
- Select the correct result from the dropdown list
- Click the name to go directly to the feature or profile page

1. Can I search for a feature I don’t have permission for?
No. You’ll only see features in search that you have access to.2 . Why can’t I search for people?
Only Super Admins, Admins, and Managers (with direct reports) can search for people. Regular users cannot.
3. What happens after I click a search result?
You’ll be redirected to the selected feature page or the person's profile (if permitted).
4. Is the Global Search the same for everyone?
No. It dynamically adjusts based on your role and permission level in the system.
