Before you begin

To manage groups in Plumm, you must be an administrator with specific permissions for managing company apps. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to create, edit, and delete groups before proceeding.

Step 1. Add a Group

  1. Navigate to the Company Apps Section:
    • Go to the "Company Apps" section within your Plumm account.
  2. Click on "Add Group":
    • This will open the group creation form.
  3. Fill in the Group Details:
    • Group Name: Enter a name for the group (e.g., "Sales Team Apps", "HR Tools").
    • Assignment Type: Select the type of assignment (e.g., Custom Apps, Integration Apps).
    • Select Apps: Choose the custom or integration apps that should be assigned to the users in the group.
  4. Save the Group:
    • After filling in the necessary details and assigning apps, click Save to create the group.

Step 2.  Edit or Delete a Group

  1. Editing a Group:
    • Navigate to the group list and locate the group you want to edit.
    • Click on the edit option to modify the group details, such as the group name, assignment type, or apps.
  2. Deleting a Group:
    • If you need to delete a group, find the group in the list and click on the delete option. Be mindful that deleting a group will unassign the apps from all users within that group.

Step 3. Search for a Group

To quickly locate a group, use the search function by entering the group’s name. This makes it easy to find and manage groups in a large organization.

You can create groups with custom or integration apps assigned to them.

2. Can I modify a group after it’s created?

Yes, you can edit a group at any time by selecting it from the group list and clicking Edit.

3. How do I remove apps from a group?

 To remove apps, you need to edit the group and deselect the apps you no longer wish to assign.

4. Can I delete a group?

Yes, groups can be deleted from the group list by selecting the delete option. Deleting a group will remove the apps from all users within that group.
 

5. Can I search for a specific group by its name?

 Yes, you can search for a group by name using the search bar in the group management section.
