Summary
Plumm Hire access is controlled by the Hire add-on and permission settings. Page access, job visibility, pipeline actions, candidate actions, and Admin Hire features each require specific permissions.

Before you begin

To access Hire permissions, you need:

  • Hire included in your organisation’s contract.
  • Appropriate permissions assigned through your organisation’s permission setup.

Important notes:

  • Hire is not available for the Mental Health;L & D package.
  • If Hire is not included in the contract:
    • Admin and SuperAdmin users see Start.
    • Start opens:
      • /talent/start
  • Do not assume the admin permission setup path if it cannot be confirmed.

Understanding who can open Hire

Open Hire:

  • Open the 9-dot menu. The control label is Apps.
  • Under PRODUCT SUITE, select Hire.

The Hire sidebar appears when:

  • The Hire add-on is active.
  • You have at least one of these permissions:
    • View Overview
    • View All Jobs
    • View Message
    • View Candidate Pool
    • Career Site

If you do not have a menu permission:

  • The related Hire page is not shown.

Job visibility:

You can view jobs where:

  • You are included in Job Visibility.
  • You are the Position Owner.
  • You are Admin or SuperAdmin.

Job Visibility tooltip:

  • Only selected users can view this job in the Jobs module.

View Overview

  • Opens:
    • /hire/overview

View All Jobs

  • Opens:
    • /hire/jobs

View Message

  • Opens:
    • /hire/messages

View Candidate Pool

  • Opens:
    • /hire/candidate-pool

Career Site

  • Opens:
    • /hire/career-site

Job permissions:

Add a Job

  • Shows Add Job.

Edit Jobs

  • Shows Edit.

Pause Job

  • Shows:
    • Pause

Deactivate Job

  • Shows Deactivate.

Archive Job

  • Shows Archive.

Understanding pipeline and candidate permissions

Pipeline permissions:

View Job Pipeline

  • Allows access to the Pipeline tab.

View Job Files

  • Allows access to the Files tab.

Download Job File

  • Allows downloading files from Files.

View Job Insights

  • Allows access to the Insights tab.

Candidate permissions:

Add Candidate

  • Allows adding candidates.

Bulk Upload

  • Allows bulk candidate uploads.

View Candidate

  • Allows opening candidate profiles.

View Candidate Overview

  • Allows viewing candidate overview details.

Edit Candidate

  • Allows editing candidate details.

Delete Candidate

  • Used in Candidate Pool.

Remove Candidate

  • Allows removing candidates from jobs.

  • Allows exporting candidate information.

  • Allows composing candidate messages.

Understanding Admin Hire permissions

Admin Hire access:

  • Open Admin.
  • Select Hire.

Admin Hire is shown when you have:

  • View Scorecard
  • Candidate Tag

Scorecard permissions:

View Scorecard

  • Allows viewing scorecards.

Edit Scorecard

  • Allows editing scorecards.

Delete Scorecard

  • Allows deleting scorecards.

Candidate Tag permissions:

Candidate Tag

  • Allows access to Candidate Tag.

Create Tag

  • Allows creating tags.

Edit Tag

  • Allows editing tags.

Delete Tag

  • Allows deleting tags.

Email template permissions:

Email templates are managed under Admin Templates.

Permissions include:

  • View Email Template
  • Create Email Template
  • Edit Email Template
  • Delete Email Template

Important note:

  • Email templates are not managed under Hire permissions.
  • eSign templates are managed separately under Admin e-Sign.

Dashboard permissions:

Dashboard tiles can also check:

  • View Interviews
  • View Job Pipeline
  • View All Jobs

when the Hire add-on is active.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Why is Hire missing from the menu?
    The Hire add-on must be active, and you need at least one Hire page permission. Hire is not available for the Mental Health;L & D package.
  • Why can I only see some jobs?
    You can only see jobs where you are included in Job Visibility, are the Position Owner, or are an Admin or SuperAdmin.
  • Why is a button missing from the pipeline?
    Each action has its own permission. For example, Send Offer, Cancel Offer, and Resend Offer are separate permissions.
  • Are email templates part of Hire permissions?
    No. Email template permissions are managed under Admin Templates. Keep email template documentation under Admin Email Template.
