How interviews work
Summary
Plumm Hire uses interviews as a stage in the job pipeline. Schedule interviews by selecting an interview type, completing the interview details, and confirming the booking. Booked interviews show Booked, and completed interviews show Completed.

Before you begin
To manage interviews, you need:
- Hire included in your organisation’s contract.
- Schedule Interview permission to schedule interviews.
- Reschedule Interview permission to reschedule interviews.
Important notes:
- Interview columns appear only when interview stages are enabled for the job.
- Interview stage names come from the job setup, such as:
- Interview #1
- Interview #2
- Google Meet and Teams integrations are managed from Admin Integrations.
- This article does not cover admin integration setup.
Viewing interview columns on the job
Open the job pipeline:
- Open Jobs.
- Select the required job.
- Go to Pipeline.
When interviews are enabled:
- Interview columns appear after Screening.
Move candidates into interviews:
- Drag a candidate card onto an interview column.
- Or select Schedule Interview from the candidate card menu.
Important notes:
- Candidates cannot be dragged from Hired to an interview column in the same way as other stages.
- If the job is Deactivated, dragging candidates to interview columns is blocked.
Choosing the interview type
Start scheduling an interview:
- Open Schedule Interview.
The modal heading shows:
- Select Interview Type
Available interview types:
Online Interview
- Schedule and conduct a virtual interview using Plumm’s platform with AI-driven analysis.
Available platforms:
- Google Meet
- Teams
- Plumm
Important note:
- If an interview uses a platform other than Plumm, it will not be recorded and AI evaluation will not be available.
Face to Face Interview
Choose the interview location:
- Manual Location
- Google Location
Completing the schedule
Complete the interview details.
The modal heading shows:
- Schedule Interview
Available fields may include:
- Date
- Time
- Timezone
- Interviewers
- Scorecard
Scorecard recommendations can include:
- No Hire
- Not Sure
- Average
- Hire
- Must Hire
Complete scheduling:
- Select Confirm.
After confirmation:
- The interview status shows:
- Booked
Additional permission:
- Download Interviews requires Download Interviews permission.
Reviewing, rescheduling, or cancelling
After the interview:
- A completed interview shows:
- Completed
Cancelled interviews:
- Show:
- Cancelled
- Stored value:
- CANCELLED_INTERVIEW
Reschedule:
- Requires Reschedule Interview permission.
Cancellation emails:
- Candidate cancellation emails use:
- Cancellation of Interview Scheduled for {position name}
Interview reports:
Overview Interview Report filters include:
- Booked
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Moved
Report columns include:
- Scheduled On
- Scheduled By
Additional option:
- You can move a candidate into an Interview stage without scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Do Google Meet or Teams interviews get recorded in Plumm?
No. If you use any option other than Plumm, the interview will not be recorded and AI evaluation will not be available. - Can I add a candidate directly to Interview?
Yes. You can add a candidate directly to the Interview stage if the action is available and you have the required permissions. - What does Moved mean for an interview stage?
Moved means the candidate was placed in the interview column without scheduling an interview. - Who can fill a scorecard?
