How to Add a New Candidate Directly to the Screening Stage

Before you begin

  • You must have the necessary permissions to access the Hire Pipeline and the job.
  • Ensure you have the required permissions to add candidates and schedule screenings. If you do not have these permissions, contact your system administrator.

Step 1. Access the Screening Stage

  1. Log in to your system.
  2. Navigate to the Hire Pipeline for the relevant job.
  3. Go to the Screening stage of the pipeline.

Step 2. Add a New Candidate

  1. In the Screening stage, click on the action button.
  2. From the dropdown menu, click on "Add Candidate".
  3. You will now have two options to add the candidate:
    • Search for the candidate in your system or database.
    • Upload a candidate's resume if they are not already in the system.

Step 3.Enter Screening Details

  1. After adding the candidate, you will be prompted to enter the screening details.
  2. Fill in the necessary information for the screening, such as screening date, time, and the details of the screening process.

Step 4. Schedule the Screening

  1. Once the screening details are entered, proceed to the schedule screening section.
  2. Ensure all relevant details are filled in for the screening, including date, time, and email addresses of the interviewer(s).

Step 5.Confirm the Screening and Add Candidate to Screening Stage

  1. After completing the screening details, click Confirm to finalise the screening schedule.
  2. The candidate will now be added directly to the Screening stage.
  3. The screening details will be sent to the candidate and the interviewer(s).
  4. Note: You cannot simply move the candidate to the Screening stage without scheduling a screening. Scheduling is mandatory when adding a new candidate directly to the Screening stage.
