How to Update a Candidate’s Certifications

The certifications field is a free text field, where you can add multiple certifications, separated by commas. Before you begin
- You must have the necessary permissions to access the Hire Pipeline and the relevant job.
- Ensure you have the edit candidate permission. If you do not have these permissions, please contact your system administrator.
Step 1. Access the Candidate Profile
- Log in to your system.
- Navigate to the Hire Pipeline for the relevant job.
- Locate the candidate whose certifications you would like to update.
- Click on the candidate card to open their profile.
Step 2. Edit the Candidate’s Profile
- On the candidate’s profile, click on the action button (usually represented by three dots or an options menu).
- From the dropdown menu, click on "Edit Candidate".
- This will open the Edit Candidate pop-up window.
Step 3.Update the Candidate’s Certifications
- In the Edit Candidate pop-up, you will see a free text field for certifications.
- To update the certifications field:
- Type the candidate’s updated certifications (e.g., PMP, Product Management Certification, Six Sigma).
- If the candidate has multiple certifications, separate them with commas (e.g., PMP, Product Management Certification).
- To remove any certification details, place your cursor next to the certification you want to delete and press the Backspace key.
Step 4. Save the Changes
- Once you’ve updated the certifications, click Save to apply the changes.
- The new certifications will now be reflected across the system in the candidate’s profile.
