How to Update a Candidate’s Phone Number

Once the phone number is updated, all future communication (such as interview reminders, offers, etc.) will be sent to the new phone number. Before you begin
- You must have the necessary permissions to access the Hire Pipeline and the relevant job.
- Ensure you have the edit candidate permission. If you do not have these permissions, please contact your system administrator.
Step 1.Access the Candidate Profile
- Log in to your system.
- Navigate to the Hire Pipeline for the relevant job.
- Locate the candidate whose phone number you would like to update.
- Click on the candidate card to open their profile
Step 2. Edit the Candidate’s Profile
- On the candidate’s profile, click on the action button (usually represented by three dots or an options menu).
- From the dropdown menu, click on "Edit Candidate".
- This will open the Edit Candidate pop-up window.
Step 3.Update the Candidate’s Phone Number
- In the Edit Candidate pop-up, you will see a field for the candidate’s phone number.
- To update the phone number, simply enter the new phone number in the relevant field.
Step 4. Save the Changes
- Once you’ve updated the phone number, click Save to apply the changes.
- The new phone number will now be used for all future communication with the candidate.
Important Note:
- All future communication (such as calls or text reminders) will be directed to the updated phone number.
- However, no updates will be made to past communications sent to the old phone number. Any previous messages or calls made to the old number will remain unchanged.
