Before you begin
- You must be an admin user with access to the Import Staff section in the platform settings.
- Ensure the email IDs of users being imported are new and not already registered in the system.
- The template contains both mandatory and optional fields—ensure all required fields are filled out correctly.
Step 1. Access the Import Staff section
- Log into your Plumm admin account.
- Navigate to Settings from the main dashboard.
- Click on Import Staff under the User Management section.
Step 2. Download and fill the template
- Click Download Template from the Import Staff page.
- Open the downloaded Excel file.
- Fill in the details for each user under the appropriate columns (e.g., email, name, contract details).
- Ensure that new email addresses are entered—existing email addresses cannot be used.
- Fill in all mandatory fields. Optional fields can be left blank.
Step 3. Upload the filled template
- Return to the Import Staff section in the platform.
- Click on Upload Template.
- Select the filled Excel template file from your device.
- Click Upload to start the import process.
Step 4. Handle validation errors
- If there is an issue with the data (e.g., missing mandatory fields or incorrect date format), a validation message will appear.
- Review the errors highlighted by the platform (e.g., "Date format not correct" or "This field is required").
- Correct the errors in the Excel sheet and re-upload the file.
- Once the data passes validation, the import will complete successfully.
