Add Emergency Contact to a User's Profile

Before you begin
Ensure you have the required permissions to add an Emergency Contact.
- Only Managers with the correct permission can add an Emergency Contact; otherwise, the information will be View mode only.
- The Emergency Contact section contains:
- Primary Contact – mandatory fields (Full Name, Contact No., Email)
- Secondary Contact – optional fields
Step 1. Log in and navigate to User's Profile
- Log in to Plumm using a valid Manager account or a user account with permission to manage profiles.
- Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of the dashboard.
- Select Core from the menu.
- Under the People section, click on My People.
- Click on the user’s name to open their profile, which will take you to the Team/People Profile section.
In the Emergency Contact section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.
Step 2. Add Emergency Contact
Managers with the correct permissions can add an Emergency Contact.
- If you have permission, the option Add Emergency Contact will be visible.
- If not, the section will be View mode only.
Click Add Emergency Contact to add the details. You will see two sections:
- Primary Contact (mandatory fields):
- Full Name
- Relation
- Contact No.
- Secondary Contact (optional fields):
- Full Name
- Relation
- Contact No.
Note: The Primary Contact section must be completed to successfully add an Emergency Contact.
Once the required fields are filled in, click Save to confirm the addition.

1.Who can add an Emergency Contact in Plumm?
If a Manager has permission, only in this case they can add an Emergency Contact. Otherwise, they can only view the information.
2. What if I can't see the option to add an Emergency Contact?
If you don’t have Manager permissions, the section will be View mode only. Contact a Manager to gain permission to add an Emergency Contact.
3. What information is required when adding an Emergency Contact?
- Primary Contact (mandatory fields): Full Name, Contact No., Email
- Secondary Contact (optional fields): All fields are optional
