Add or Edit Personal Summary - User

Summary

 You can view or edit an employee’s Personal Summary from their Teams profile in Plumm. The section is blank by default, and no fields are mandatory. Editing and viewing depend on permission settings.

Before you begin

  • The Personal Summary is only visible if you have view permission for the section.
  • To make changes, you must have edit permission.
  • No fields in the Personal Summary are mandatory.

Step 1. Access a user's Teams profile

    1. Log in to your account.
    2. Click on the nine-dot icon located at the top left corner of your dashboard.
    3. From the available options, select the "Core" option (this is default selection).
    4. After selecting core, click on "My People" option.
    5. Click on a user's name or the 3-dot action button in front of user. Select 'Edit' option.
    6. The profile page of that user will load, and you will be able to view and edit the Personal Summary (if you have the required permissions).

    Step 2. Add or edit the Personal Summary

    To add a new Personal Summary

    1. After clicking on 'Edit', you will see the user's profile. Select 'Personal Summary' from the left-hand panel.
    2. At the top-right corner, click on the three-dots (action button) and select 'Add Personal Summary'
    3. Click on the three dots and select "Add Personal Summary".
    4. A pop-up will appear with the following fields:
      • LinkedIn
      • Hobby
      • Talent
      • Diet
      • Preferences
      • Sexual Orientation
      • Allergies
      • Tailored Assistant
      • Languages
      • About Me
    5. Fill in the relevant information (all fields are optional).
    6. Click Save to add the summary to the user’s profile.

    To edit an existing Personal Summary

    1. Hover over the Personal Summary section.
    2. Click the three dots to open the action menu.
    3. Select "Edit".
    4. A pop-up will appear with the same fields as above.
    5. Update the details as required.
    6. Click Save to apply the changes.

    1. Is the Personal Summary required to be filled in?

    No, all fields in the Personal Summary are optional.
     

    2. Who can view or edit the Personal Summary?

    Only users with the relevant view or edit permissions can access or modify the Personal Summary section.


    3. Where is the Personal Summary located?

    It is the third section under the personal tab of the user’s profile.
     

     

    4. Can admins update the Personal Summary?

    Yes, admins with 'edit permission' can add or update any field within the section.
