Add Personal Summary to a User's Profile

Before you begin
Ensure you have the required permissions to add a user’s Personal Summary.
- Only Managers with the correct permission can add a Personal Summary; otherwise, the information will be in View mode.
- Make sure you have the necessary details to update the Personal Summary, such as:
- Hobbies and Talents
- Special Needs
- Other relevant information
Step 1. Log in and navigate to User's Profile
- Log in to Plumm using a valid Manager account or a user account with permission to manage profiles.
- Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of the dashboard.
- Select Core from the menu.
- Under the People section, click on My People.
- Click on the user’s name to open their profile, which will take you to the Team/People Profile section.
In the Personal Summary section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.
Step 2. Add Personal Summary
Managers with the correct permissions can add a Personal Summary.
- If you have permission, the option Add Personal Summary will be visible.
- If not, the section will be View mode only.
Click Add Personal Summary to fill in the details:
- Hobbies and Talents
- Special Needs
- Other relevant information
Note: There are no mandatory fields in the Personal Summary section. You can save without entering any details if needed.
Once complete, click Save to add the Personal Summary.

1. Who can add a Personal Summary in Plumm?
Managers with the correct permissions can add a Personal Summary. Without permission, users can only view the section.
2. What if I can't see the option to add a Personal Summary?
if you don’t have Manager permissions, the section will be View mode only. Contact a Manager for permission to add a Personal Summary.
3. What information is required when adding a Personal Summary?
There are no mandatory fields. You can add any of the requested details such as LinkedIn, Hobbies, Talents, Special Needs, or other relevant information.
4. Can non-manager users add their own Personal Summary?
Non-manager users can only add their own Personal Summary if their role has permission to do so. Otherwise, they can only view the information.
