Before you begin
Ensure you have the required permissions to edit a user’s bank details. If a Manager has permission, they can edit bank details; otherwise, they can only view the information.
Make sure you have the necessary bank details from the user, including the bank name, account details, and relevant codes.
Step 1. Log in and Navigate to Core
- Log in to Plumm using a Manager account or any user account with the required permissions to manage profiles.
- From the main dashboard, click on the 9 dots icon.
- Select Core from the list of options available.
- Once in the Core section, locate the People or User Management area.
- Find the user for whom you wish to add or update their bank details.
- Click on the Action button next to the user’s name.
- Select Edit to open the user’s profile.
Step 2. Edit Bank Details
In the user profile, follow these steps to edit the bank details:
- Go to the Money tab within the user's profile to manage their financial details.
- Scroll to the Bank Details section.
- Click on the 3 dots (options menu) next to the Bank Details section.
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
- Modify the following bank-related details:
- Country: Update the country as necessary.
- Currency: Change the currency for the bank account if needed.
- Bank Name: Edit the name of the bank.
- Account Holder Name: Update the name of the account holder.
- Account Number: Modify the account number.
- Account Code Type: Select the account code type (e.g., IBAN, account number).
- Sort Code / BIC / SWIFT Code / IFSC Code: Edit the relevant bank codes.
- After updating the required fields, click Confirm to save the changes.

1.Who can edit bank details for a user?
Only Managers with the appropriate permissions can edit bank details for users. If you do not have these permissions, you will only be able to view the information.
2. Can I edit multiple bank accounts for a user?
This depends on your platform’s settings. If multiple bank accounts can be added, you can edit any of them by following the same process. Otherwise, only the current bank account can be edited.
3. What should I do if I entered incorrect bank information?
You can update the bank details at any time by following the same steps. Simply click Edit in the Bank Details section to correct the information.
4. Is it safe to update a user’s bank details?
Yes, the bank details are securely stored and encrypted within the platform to ensure the safety of the information.
5. Can I delete a user’s bank details after editing them?
Yes, you can delete bank details at any time by selecting Delete in the Bank Details section.
