Before you begin

Ensure you have the required permissions to edit compensation information for users. If a Manager has permission, only in this case can they edit compensation details; otherwise, they can only view the information.
Make sure you have the updated compensation details, including salary, bonus, commission, and any other compensation-related data.

Step 1. Log in and Navigate to Core

  1. Log in to Plumm using a Manager account or any user account with the required permissions to manage profiles.
  2. From the main dashboard, click on the 9 dots icon.
  3. Select Core from the list of options available.
  4. Once in the Core section, locate the People or User Management area.
  5. Find the user for whom you wish to add or update their bank details.
  6. Click on the Action button next to the user’s name.
  7. Select Edit to open the user’s profile.

Step 2. Edit Compensation Information

In the user profile, follow these steps to edit compensation information:
  1. Click on the Money tab within the user’s profile to manage their financial details.
  2. Scroll down to the Compensation Information section.
  3. Click on the 3 dots (options menu) next to the compensation entry you want to edit.
  4. Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
  5. Modify the following details as needed:
    • Date: Enter the date for the compensation change (e.g., new salary, bonus update).
    • Basic Salary: Update the employee’s base salary.
    • Bonus Amount: Adjust the bonus amount, if applicable.
    • Commission Amount: Modify the commission amount, if applicable.
    • Variable Compensation: Update performance-based or other variable compensation.
    • ESOPs (Employee Stock Ownership Plan): Adjust stock options or shares eligibility.
    • Total Compensation: This will be auto-calculated from the above entries but can be manually adjusted if needed.
    • Change Type: Select the reason for the compensation change (e.g., Promotion, Annual Review).
    • Notes: Add or modify notes explaining the compensation change (e.g., reasons, performance indicators, etc.).
  6. After making the necessary updates, click Save to confirm the edited compensation information.

Only Managers with the appropriate permissions can edit compensation information for users. If you do not have these permissions, you will only be able to view the information.
 

2. Can I edit multiple compensation entries for a user?

Yes, you can edit multiple compensation entries by selecting each one and updating them as needed.


3.What happens after I edit the compensation information?

After saving the changes, your updated compensation details will replace the previous data and be reflected in the user’s profile.
 

 

4.Can I delete a user’s compensation information?

Yes, you can delete any compensation entry by selecting Delete from the options menu next to the entry in the Compensation Information section.
