Edit Emergency Contact in a User's Profile

Before you begin

Ensure you have the required permissions to edit the Emergency Contact.
Only Managers with the correct permission can edit an Emergency Contact; otherwise, the information will be View mode only.
The Emergency Contact section contains:
  • Primary Contact – mandatory fields (Full Name, Contact No., Email)
  • Secondary Contact – optional fields

Step 1. Log in and navigate to User's Profile

  1. Log in to Plumm using a valid Manager account or a user account with permission to manage profiles.
  2. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of the dashboard.
  3. Select Core from the menu.
  4. Under the People section, click on My People.
  5. Click on the user’s name to open their profile, which will take you to the Team/People Profile section.
  6. In the Emergency Contact section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.

Step 2. Edit Emergency Contact

Managers with the correct permissions can edit the Emergency Contact.
If you have permission, the option Edit Emergency Contact will be visible.
If not, the section will be View mode only.
Click Edit Emergency Contact to update the details. You will see two sections:
Primary Contact (mandatory fields):
  • Full Name
  • Relation
  • Contact No.
  • Email
Secondary Contact (optional fields):
  • Full Name
  • Relation
  • Contact No.
  • Email
Note: The Primary Contact section must be completed to successfully update an Emergency Contact.
Once the required fields are updated, click Save to confirm the changes.

1.Who can edit the Emergency Contact in Plumm?

Only Managers with the correct permissions can edit an Emergency Contact. Without permission, users can only view the section.
 

2. What if I can't see the option to edit the Emergency Contact?

 If you don’t have Manager permissions, the section will be View mode only. Contact a Manager to gain permission to edit an Emergency Contact.


3.What information is required when editing an Emergency Contact?

  • Primary Contact (mandatory fields): Full Name, Contact No., Email
  • Secondary Contact (optional fields): All fields are optional
