Before you begin

  • Only users with appropriate permissions can edit pay rates.
  • The employee must have "Hourly" as their pay type to edit their pay rates.

Step 1. Navigate to the People Page

  1. Open the People page from the main dashboard.

Step 2. Access the User Profile

  1. Click on the Action button next to the employee’s name.
  2. This will open the User Profile page.

Step 3. Go to the Work Tab

  1. In the User Profile, navigate to the Work tab.

Step 4. Locate and Edit Pay Rate

  1. Under the Contract section, ensure the employee’s Pay Type is set to Hourly.
  2. Scroll down to the Pay Rates section.
  3. Find the pay rate you wish to edit and click the Edit button next to it.
  4. In the popup, modify the necessary fields:
    • Start Date: Change the start date if needed.
    • End Date: Update the end date if required.
    • Pay Rate: Adjust the hourly rate.
    • Currency: Change the currency if applicable.
    • Comment: Edit any comments or remarks.
  5. Once the changes are made, click Save to confirm the edited pay rate.

1.Can I edit a pay rate if the employee’s pay type is Daily?

No, pay rates can only be edited for employees with an Hourly pay type.
 

2. What happens if I change the pay rate start or end date?

The changes will take effect from the new start date. The previous pay rate will remain in place until the new start date.


3.Can I delete a pay rate?

Yes, you can remove a pay rate by clicking the Delete button next to the pay rate in the Pay Rates section.
