Before you begin

  • Ensure you are logged into your Plumm account.
  • You must have access to the candidate's profile and the Message module.
  • You must have permission to manage email statuses.

Step 1. Mark an email as read

  1. Navigate to the Candidate Overview page and open the Messages tab.
  2. Locate the email you want to mark as read in the message list.
  3. If the email is unread, it will be highlighted with a bold font.
  4. Click the Read button (represented by an open envelope icon) next to the email.
  5. The email will now be marked as read, and it will no longer appear in bold.

Step 2. Mark an email as unread

  1. Navigate to the Candidate Overview page and open the Messages tab.
  2. Locate the email you want to mark as unread.
  3. If the email is marked as read, it will appear in regular font.
  4. Click the Unread button (represented by a closed envelope icon) next to the email.
  5. The email will now be marked as unread, and it will appear in bold again, indicating that it requires attention.

Marking an email as "read" indicates that you have seen and reviewed the email. It will no longer be highlighted as unread in your messages list.
