May 2026 Release Notes


This release focuses on improving security, workforce management, collaboration, and operational efficiency across the platform. Highlights include the introduction of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), enhanced Rota and Time Off functionality, expanded Ticketing capabilities, improved 1-on-1 visibility and permissions, and continued enhancements across Hire, Learn, Payroll, and reporting to provide a faster, more intuitive experience for all users. 

Security Enhancements

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Login

To strengthen platform security and protect user accounts, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has now been introduced.

    • Additional layer of security beyond username and password.
    • Helps prevent unauthorised access and account compromise.
    • Supports compliance with organisational security policies and best practices.
    • After entering their login credentials, users will be prompted to verify their identity using the 6 digit OTP received by email
    • Improves protection of sensitive employee and company information.

Users may be prompted to verify their identity through an additional authentication method during login, ensuring secure access to the platform.



Sign-In Control Settings

    • Disable Email & Password Login – Admins can now disable standard email/password authentication and enforce login exclusively through approved Single Sign-On (SSO) providers such as Microsoft or Google.
    • Enhanced Security & Compliance – Helps organisations strengthen access controls, reduce password-related security risks, and align with corporate identity management policies.
    • Custom User Guidance – Users attempting to log in via email/password will be presented with an administrator-defined message, ensuring a smooth transition to approved authentication methods

Rota 

Multiple Shifts Per Day

Users can now be assigned multiple shifts within the same day.

    • Supports split-shift working patterns.
    • Ideal for industries with morning and evening shift requirements.
    • Provides greater flexibility for workforce scheduling.

Edit Assigned Shifts from Team Rota

Managers can now directly edit an employee's assigned shift from the Team Rota view.

    • Reduces the need to remove and recreate shifts.
    • Enables faster schedule adjustments.
    • Improves manager productivity and workforce planning.

Assign Shifts to Multiple Employees Across Multiple Days

Managers can now assign the same shift to multiple employees over multiple dates in a single action.

    • Significantly reduces repetitive scheduling tasks.
    • Ideal for recurring shifts and large teams.
    • Improves scheduling efficiency and consistency.

Time Off 

Allow Leave Requests Alongside Work From Home

Employees can now request other leave types even when they already have a Work From Home request on the same day.

    • Half-day annual leave combined with Work From Home.
    • Medical appointments alongside a WFH arrangement.
    • Supports flexible working arrangements.
    • Provides more accurate leave tracking.
    • Reflects modern workforce requirements.

Sickness Policy Identification & Bradford Factor Reporting

The system now automatically identifies sickness-related leave policies and incorporates them into Bradford Factor calculations.

    • More accurate absence management reporting.
    • Improved visibility of sickness trends.
    • Supports attendance management and workforce wellbeing initiatives.
    • Helps organisations identify patterns requiring intervention.

Share Calendar

Birthday & Work Anniversary Visibility

Birthdays and work anniversaries are now displayed within the calendar for up to two years.

    • Improved workforce planning and engagement initiatives.
    • Better visibility of important employee milestones.
    • Supports recognition and celebration programmes.

Hire 

Enhanced Interview Experience

    • Major upgrade to interview video quality, providing clearer video playback and a more seamless interview experience for both recruiters and candidates.
    • Refreshed user interface across interview workflows for improved usability and navigation.

Candidate Notes Management

    • Recruiters can now add, edit, and delete notes directly from candidate profiles.
    • Enables better collaboration and more accurate candidate tracking throughout the hiring process.

Improved AI Interview Analysis

    • Enhanced AI-powered analysis for completed interviews.
    • Provides more accurate feedback, stronger candidate insights, and improved evaluation support for hiring teams.

Email Template Performance Improvements

    • Optimised email template loading and rendering.
    • Faster access to templates and improved reliability of candidate communications.

General Enhancements & Fixes

    • Performance improvements across hiring workflows.
    • Bug fixes and usability enhancements throughout the Hire module.

Learn (LMS) 

Improved Learning Insights

    • The Overview tab now provides enhanced learning insights and progress visibility.
    • Gives managers and administrators a clearer view of learner engagement and completion trends.

Learner Email Visibility in Reports

    • Learner email addresses are now included in reporting exports.
    • Makes learner identification and reporting more efficient for administrators.

Certificate Download Improvements

    • Resolved inconsistencies affecting certificate generation and downloads.
    • Ensures a more reliable experience when accessing completed course certificates.

General Enhancements & Fixes

    • UI improvements across learning workflows.
    • Performance optimisations and bug fixes to improve the overall learner experience.

Plumm Money 

Multi-Shift Rota & Attendance Integration

    • Multi-shift data from Rota and Attendance now seamlessly synchronises into Payroll.
    • Ensures accurate payroll calculations for employees working multiple shifts in a single day.

Payslip Enhancements

    • Payslips have been upgraded to clearly display Benefits in Kind (BIK) information.
    • Provides greater transparency and compliance in employee payroll records.

Invoice Management Improvements

    • Users can now delete invoices, subject to their assigned permissions.
    • Provides greater flexibility and control over invoice management processes.

General Enhancements & Fixes

    • Performance improvements across payroll workflows.
    • Bug fixes and stability enhancements to improve reliability and user experience.

1-on-1 

Dedicated "My 1-on-1s" and "Team 1-on-1s" Views

The 1-on-1 module has been reorganised into separate sections:

    • My 1-on-1s – Personal meetings and discussions.
    • Team 1-on-1s – Meetings relating to direct reports and team members.
    • Improved navigation and usability.
    • Clear distinction between personal and managerial responsibilities.
    • Easier access to relevant conversations and records.
    • Custom Role Support for Team 1-on-1s – Organisations can now grant access to Team 1-on-1 records through Custom Roles, allowing authorised users such as HR teams, senior leaders, or designated stakeholders to view discussions where appropriate.

Ticketing System 

Mental Health Support Ticketing

A dedicated ticketing workflow has been introduced for Mental Health services.

    • Users can raise support requests directly related to wellbeing services.
    • Improved visibility and communication throughout the support journey.
    • Better management of wellbeing-related requests and follow-ups.
    • Enhanced tracking and status visibility for all support interactions.

Therapist Ticket Management

Therapists now have access to a dedicated ticketing experience, enabling them to efficiently manage and respond to assigned support cases.

    • Centralised view of assigned tickets.
    • Improved case tracking and follow-up management.
    • Better communication between therapists and service users.
    • Enhanced visibility of ticket history and progress updates.

Organisation Wide Ticket Visibility

We've expanded ticket visibility and access controls within Plumm.

    • Super Admins can now view and manage all tickets raised across the organisation.
    • Admins can also access all raised tickets, subject to the permissions assigned to their role.
    • Improved oversight of support requests, escalations, and resolution status.
    • Greater transparency and control for operational and support teams.

This enhancement enables organisations to manage support requests more effectively while maintaining role-based security and governance.


Timesheet

Bank Holiday Hours Included in Timesheet Reports

The Timesheet Hours Report has been enhanced to include hours associated with Bank Holidays.

    • More accurate reporting of total payable hours.
    • Better payroll reconciliation.
    • Improved visibility into workforce utilisation and attendance.

Other Enhancements

  • Automatically assigns newly added employees to applicable All Employees Time Off policies, ensuring correct leave entitlements from day one.
  • Improved consistency of layouts, forms, and navigation across the platform.
  • Enhanced responsiveness and usability across desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Streamlined workflows to reduce clicks and improve task completion times.
  • Improved readability of reports, dashboards, and data tables.

    Bug Fixes

    As part of our ongoing commitment to improving platform stability, performance, and user experience, this release includes a range of bug fixes and user interface enhancements across multiple modules.

      • Resolved issues related to Time Off request validations and entitlement calculations.
      • Fixed inconsistencies in Rota scheduling and shift assignment workflows.
      • Addressed visibility and permission-related issues across Reviews and 1-on-1s.
      • Improved Timesheet reporting accuracy, including holiday and leave-related calculations.
      • Resolved email notification and delivery issues across various workflows.
      • Fixed data synchronisation issues affecting newly onboarded users and policy assignments.
      • Addressed minor defects across Hire, Learn, Dashboard, and User Management modules.

      Mobile App

      • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Added email-based 6 digit OTP verification during mobile app login, providing an additional layer of security and protecting user accounts from unauthorised access.
      • Multiple Shifts per Day in Team Rota – Team Rota on the mobile app now supports viewing and managing employees with multiple shifts assigned on the same day, providing greater visibility for managers and schedulers.
      • Team 1-on-1s on Mobile – Managers and authorised users can now access and manage Team 1-on-1s directly from the mobile app, making it easier to review discussions, meeting history, and action items while on the go.
      • Work From Home & Additional Leave Requests – Mobile app users can now request other leave types even when a Work From Home request already exists on the same day. This supports flexible working arrangements such as combining a half-day annual leave or medical appointment with a Work From Home request, while ensuring accurate leave tracking.
      • Sickness Policy & Bradford Factor Support – The mobile app now supports sickness-related leave policies, with sickness requests automatically contributing to Bradford Factor calculations. This provides better absence tracking, improved visibility of sickness trends, and supports workforce wellbeing and attendance management initiatives.
      • UI Enhancements & Bug Fixes – Delivered multiple user interface improvements, performance optimisations, and bug fixes across the mobile application to provide a smoother, faster, and more reliable user experience.
