Mood Tracker and Mood Journal

Last Updated: 6 November 2026

What you can see and do here depends on the permission group (role) your admin has given you. See Set Up Roles and Permission Groups.

What It Is and Who It Is For

The Mood Tracker helps you notice how you feel over time. Log your mood in a few seconds, add the feelings behind it and a short note, then look back at your history to spot patterns. Your entries are private. Nobody else, including your manager or HR, can see them.

This article is for everyone with Wellbeing.

Prerequisites

  • Mood Tracker turned on for you by your admin.

Log Your Mood

  1. Open the Apps menu (9 dots), select Wellbeing, then Mood Tracker. Or click the Mood Tracker widget on your dashboard.
  2. At How are you feeling today?, click the face that matches your mood.
  3. Choose one or more feelings, for example Delighted, Content or Pleased.
  4. At Write your thoughts, add a note if you want. It's optional.
  5. Save.

The entry is dated today. You can't log a mood for another day.

See Your Mood History

  • My Average Mood shows your average across your entries.
  • Mood History shows a chart of your moods. Switch the range with W (week), M (month), 6M, 1Y or All.

On your dashboard, click View History on the Mood Tracker widget to see a summary.

Use Your Mood Journal

Your Mood Journal lists every entry with its date, mood and note.

  1. To see a date range, choose a From and To date (dd/mm/yyyy).
  2. Click Show.

The To date can't be earlier than the From date. If there are no entries in the range, you'll see Nothing to show here yet.

Delete an Entry

  1. In Your Mood Journal, click the menu on the entry and select Delete.
  2. Type DELETE to confirm.

Deleting can't be undone. You can't edit an entry. Delete it and log a new one instead.

Limitations

  • Entries are always for today.
  • Entries can't be edited.

FAQs and Troubleshooting

Can My Manager or HR See My Moods? No. Only you see your entries. Your employer may see anonymised company totals in Insights, never your individual entries.

Can I Get My Entry Back After Deleting It? No. Deleted entries can't be restored.
