Before you begin

Attendance must be included in your organisation's Plumm contract. My Attendance is available only when the Attendance add-on is active.

You must have permission to access the My Attendance page. SuperAdmins can access My Attendance when the add-on is active.

You should also have:

  • An attendance policy assigned to you.
  • A shift assigned to you if you need to clock in on the web.
  • Web Clock In enabled in your attendance policy to clock in through the web.
  • My Overtime Request permission to access the Overtime Request tab.

If you are not signed in, Plumm redirects you to Home.

Navigate to My Attendance

Go to Apps (9-dot menu) > PRODUCT SUITE > Attendance > Time > My Attendance.

The page title is My Attendance.

If Attendance does not appear under Apps, the Attendance add-on may not be active or you may not have the required attendance permission.

My Attendance tab

The My Attendance tab opens by default and allows you to review your calendar, attendance hours, clock in or out, and regularise attendance.

Choose Month or Week and use Select to choose the period you want to review. Future dates cannot be selected.

The date formats are:

  • Month: MMMM YYYY, for example, August 2026.
  • Week: DD MMM YYYY - DD MMM YYYY.

Select any available day to open its attendance details in the right-hand panel.

If your profile does not have a start date, Plumm displays a message explaining that badge progress is based on your user creation date until the correct start date is added.

Clock in and out

The clock card appears above the calendar.

When you are not clocked in, it displays Clock In with a play icon. When you are clocked in, it displays Clock Out with a pause icon.

The card also shows:

  • Total Hours Today
  • Effective
  • Gross

Clock In

Select the play icon > complete the available Project, Task, and Comment fields > Save.

Project and Task are displayed only when your attendance policy allows projects and Project Management is enabled.

If your policy requires a web comment, the Comment field is mandatory. Comments must be fewer than 800 characters.

After a successful clock in, Plumm displays Clocked in successfully.

Clock Out

Select the pause icon > complete the available Project, Task, and Comment fields > Save.

After a successful clock out, Plumm displays Clocked out successfully.

Clock in restrictions

Web clock in is available only when:

  • An attendance policy is assigned.
  • A shift is assigned.
  • Web Clock In is enabled in the policy.

If clock in is disabled, hover over the clock card to see the reason.

Your organisation may restrict web clock in to approved IP ranges. Plumm checks your IP address when you save Clock In.

If you try to clock in before the permitted pre-shift window, Plumm tells you when your clock in can begin.

Web clock in does not request your location. Location checks apply to mobile clock in.

Calendar tags

Your attendance calendar can display one or more tags for each day.

  • Late – you arrived late and the day meets your organisation's late-arrival rules.
  • Overtime – overtime hours are recorded for the day.
  • DAY OFF – a weekly or other non-working day.
  • Holiday – a company holiday.
  • TIME OFF – approved leave for the whole day.
  • PARTIAL TIME OFF – approved leave for part of the day.
  • AWOL – no attendance logs are recorded and the day meets your organisation's AWOL rules.
  • No Logs – no attendance was logged for the day.
  • Reg – the day has been regularised.
  • Missing – expected attendance logs are missing.

There is no Present or Absent tag on the My Attendance calendar.

If attendance tags are disabled, approved leave can still display TIME OFF.

View a day's attendance

Select a day on the calendar to open the right-hand attendance panel.

The panel can show:

  • Effective
  • Break
  • Gross
  • Overtime
  • (Overtime)
  • (Late)

Attendance logs are grouped into:

  • Web Clock In
  • Mobile Clock In
  • Kiosks Clock In
  • Attendance Adjustment

If a group has no entries, Plumm displays No records available.

An open log without an end time displays Missing. A zero-hour shift can display Irregular shift.

If attendance adjustment or regularisation is enabled in your policy, the panel also displays Regularise.

Attendance hours

Gross – the time between your first completed clock in and your last completed clock out for the day.

Effective – the total amount of time you were clocked in during the day.

Break – Gross minus Effective. This represents the gaps between attendance logs rather than a separate break button.

Overtime – additional hours beyond your scheduled hours when overtime applies.

Total Hours Today uses your Effective and Gross hours for the current day.

Time Tracked and Schedule

The Time Tracked card appears next to the clock card and shows your worked hours against your expected hours for the selected period.

For example: 32h 15m / 40h 0m.

If you work more than expected, Plumm can display the additional time as Extra.

The chart can include:

  • Worked
  • Break
  • Overtime

Break and Overtime are hidden on My Attendance if you do not have the My Overtime Request permission.

Schedule

Schedule displays your assigned working pattern and working days.

Multi-week patterns can display:

  • Bi-Weekly Working Schedule
  • 4-Week Working Schedule
  • 8-Week Working Schedule

If you work irregular hours, Schedule can display Irregular Hours.

If no working pattern is assigned, Plumm may display No working pattern defined or No working patterns defined.

Attendance and overtime policies

Use the policy icons in the Schedule section to open the policies assigned to you.

Available policies include:

  • Penalisation Policy
  • Attendance Policy
  • Overtime Policy

Overtime Policy appears on My Attendance only when you have the My Overtime Request permission.

If a policy is not assigned, Plumm may display No Penalisation Setting Available or No overtime policy found for you.

Submit an attendance request

Use Calendar > select the relevant day > Regularise when you need to correct attendance logs or request an exemption from penalisation.

The Attendance Request Details panel opens.

Choose the appropriate option:

  • Add/update time entries to adjust attendance logs – use this to add or correct clock times. Attendance Adjustment must be enabled in your policy.
  • Raise regulation request to exempt this day from personification policy penalisation – use this when you need the day exempted from penalisation. Regularisation must be enabled in your policy.

Attendance Adjustment can include:

  • From
  • To
  • Project
  • Task
  • Note

Use Add New Work when you need to add another row.

Regularisation can include a reason and Note, depending on your organisation's policy.

Complete the required information and select Submit.

Plumm displays Request Submitted.

Your attendance policy may restrict how many requests you can submit or how far back you can submit an adjustment or regularisation request.

Attendance Request tab

Open My Attendance > Attendance Request to review requests you have already submitted.

Use Search or select a year to filter the list. The current year is selected by default.

The year filter is based on the year when the request was created, not the attendance date.

The list includes:

  • Request Type
  • Date
  • Notes
  • Reason
  • Request Date
  • Status

Statuses can include:

  • Approved
  • Declined
  • Pending
  • Cancelled

Use the three-dot menu () on a request to access available actions:

  • Edit – available for eligible Pending requests. Mobile Clock In requests cannot be edited.
  • Cancel – available for Pending requests.
  • Activity Log – view request activity and send a message.
  • Delete – available for Pending or Cancelled Attendance Requests.

If there are no matching requests, Plumm displays No attendance requests found.

Overtime Request tab

The Overtime Request tab is displayed only when you have the My Overtime Request permission.

You can start an overtime request from a day's Submit Overtime option or directly from the Overtime Request tab.

Go to My Attendance > Overtime Request > enter the Overtime Date, Hours, Minutes, and Notes > Submit.

Hours and minutes combined must be greater than zero.

If your overtime policy requires approval, the request status is Pending. If approval is not required, the status is Approved.

Available statuses include:

  • Pending
  • Approved
  • Declined
  • Cancelled

For a Pending request, use the three-dot menu () to access:

  • Edit
  • Cancel
  • Activity Log

Overtime requests cannot be deleted. A Pending overtime request can be cancelled.

Download or export

From Attendance Request, export the grid to download AttendanceRequests.

From Overtime Request, export the grid to download OvertimeRequests.

Dates in exported files use the DD/MM/YYYY format.

There is no separate export permission for this page.

Notifications

Clocking in or out from My Attendance does not send an email.

Your organisation can configure reminders if you have not clocked in within a specified number of minutes after your shift starts.

Attendance and overtime requests can generate email and in-app notifications when requests are submitted, approved, declined, updated, cancelled, or auto-approved, depending on the action.

Cancelling overtime from this page does not send an overtime cancellation email. Deleting an Attendance Request does not send an email.
