My Loan

Summary

My Loan is the employee view of a loan assigned to you. From My Money > Benefits, open a Loan card to see requested, repaid, and remaining amounts, enrolment details, and update pending instalments when the row is not waiting on an approver.

Before you begin

You must have an active Payroll add-on to access and use Payroll features.

You need My Money access and View My Benefits.

The loan must be assigned to you with Status Member to appear on Benefits.

If the benefit cannot be found, Plumm takes you back to My Money.

There is no New Request or Opt out button on this page.


Opening My Loan

  1. Log in to Plumm
  2. Open the 9-dot menu
  3. Under Money, select My Money
  4. Select Benefits
  5. Select a Loan card, or open the three-dot menu (⋮) and select View
  • The page title is My Loan. The heading is the benefit name.
  • Use the back chevron to return to My Money.

Read the amount summary

The summary shows:

Requested

The borrowed amount with currency when Amount Borrowed exists, otherwise 0.00.

Repaid

Borrowed minus pending, with currency, when both Amount Borrowed and Pending Amount exist, otherwise 0.00.

Remaining

The pending amount with currency, otherwise 0.00.

The layout is Requested - Repaid = Remaining.


Read Enrollment details

The section heading is Enrollment details.

Borrowed

The borrowed amount with currency, or --- if empty.

Number of installments

The instalment count, or --- if empty. The label uses installments.

Effective date

The effective date, or --- if empty.

Added by

The person who added the enrolment, with their photo, or --- if none.

Below this, the grid columns are:

Status

Status comes from your loan record. Values used in payroll benefits include Member and Not included. The company loan list displays Not Included for Not included. This employee grid shows the stored status text.

If there are no rows, Plumm shows Nothing to show here yet.

Use Search to find a row. Page sizes are 10, 50, 100, 200, and 500.

Use the grid export to download MyLoan.xlsx. The worksheet name is MyLoan.


Updating a loan row

Open the three-dot menu on a grid row.

Update

Shown and enabled when Status is not Not included and the benefit does not require an approver.

Update (disabled)

Shown but not clickable when Status is not Not included and an approver role is set.

Update is not shown when Status is Not included.

Select Update.

The sidebar heading is the benefit name. The footer button label changes to Update.

Employee

Your name and photo. Not editable.

Effective Date

Filled from the row and disabled.

Borrowed

Filled from the row and disabled.

Pending Amount

Filled from the row and disabled.

Number of Pening Installments

This is the exact label, including Pening. Enter the pending instalment count. This field is editable.

Select Update.

Validation:

Required field

Shown if Effective Date is empty, Borrowed is empty, or Number of Pening Installments is empty.

Borrowed amount cannot be zero

Shown if Borrowed is 0.

Number of pending installments cannot be zero

Shown if the instalment count is 0. The message uses pending installments, not the field’s Pening spelling.

If the save works, Plumm shows Updated successfully! and refreshes the grid.

If dates cannot be read, Plumm shows Error in dates, please refresh and try again.

Invalid entries can return Invalid input data. Please check your entries.

A failed save can show Something went wrong, Please try again. The page error is Something went wrong, please try again.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Who can open this page?
    People with My Money and View My Benefits, who have a Loan card on Benefits.
  • Can I request a new loan amount from this page?
    No. There is no New Request action on My Loan.
  • Can I opt out from My Loan?
    No. There is no Opt out action on this page.
  • Why is Update disabled?
    An approver is set on the benefit. You can update a row only when the benefit does not require an approver and Status is not Not included.
  • Which fields can I change?
    Only Number of Pening Installments. Effective Date, Borrowed, and Pending Amount are disabled.
