Summary

The My Payroll tab in My Money lists your payslips after a pay run has produced a file. You can search the list, read Password Hint, download a payslip PDF, export the grid to Excel, and, if you have permission, download a P11 PDF.

Before you begin

You must have an active Payroll add-on to access and use Payroll features.

You need My Money access and View My Payroll.

To see Download P11 Reports on a row, you also need Download My P11 Report.

Payslips appear only when a payslip file exists for you. Document Type is Payslip.

Password protection is set by administrators under Admin > Payroll > Settings, not on this tab. The settings labels are Enable Password Protection and Password To Use.

Opening My Payroll

  1. Log in to Plumm
  2. Open the 9-dot menu
  3. Under Money, select My Money
  4. Select My Payroll
  • If you do not have View My Payroll, this tab is not shown.
  • If the grid is empty, Plumm shows Nothing to show here yet.
  • Use Search to find a row. Header filters are available on the columns. Page sizes are 10, 50, 100, 200, and 500.

Read the payslip grid

The columns are:

Pay Cycle

The pay period date, shown as MMM yyy, for example Aug 2026 if the year format displays in full. The value comes from the cycle date, or from the import pay date when the payslip was imported.

Gross

Gross pay for the cycle, with your payroll currency symbol in front of the amount.

Deduction

Total deduction for the cycle, with the currency symbol.

Take Home

Net pay for the cycle, with the currency symbol.

Document Type

Always Payslip for rows on this grid.

Processed Date

The processed date, shown as dd MMM yyyy, for example 13 Aug 2026. For an imported payslip this is the import pay date.

Password Hint

How to open the PDF if Enable Password Protection is Enabled. See Understand Password Hint.

Open the three-dot menu on a row for Download Payslip and, if permitted, Download P11 Reports.

You can also select a row. If a payslip file exists, Plumm opens the payslip in a new browser tab.

Understand Password Hint

Password Hint is always shown as a column. It does not use a show/hide eye control on this grid.

The hint text depends on Admin > Payroll > Settings.

Enable Password Protection

The admin label is Enable Password Protection. Values are Enabled or Disabled.

Password To Use

Shown in admin when protection is Enabled. The dropdown options are:

  • Initials and Date of Birth (NA19820325)
  • NI Number (SW752285B)
  • Custom

On My Payroll, Password Hint shows:

  • No Password Needed
Enable Password Protection is Disabled, Password To Use is empty, or a Custom password has not been stored.
  • Initials and Date of Birth (NA19820325)
Password To Use is DOB. The PDF password is your first initial and last initial, then your date of birth as yyyyMMdd. The example in the product is NA19820325. If your name is Michael Caine and your date of birth is 14 March 1933, the password is MC19330314.
  • NI Number (SW752285B)
Password To Use is NI. The PDF password is your National Insurance number. The example in the product is SW752285B.
  • Password: {your custom password}
Password To Use is Custom and a custom password exists. The hint shows the actual custom password after Password: .

These My Payroll strings match the admin Password To Use labels for DOB and NI. They are not the same as the download helper strings Your initials and DOB (NA19820325) and Your NI Number (SW752285B), which are used only when loading a single payslip for download.

Downloading a payslip

Open the three-dot menu (⋮) on a row.

Select Download Payslip.

Plumm downloads a PDF. If the file name is missing, the browser may save the file as download.

If the payslip file is not ready, the download can fail with Payslip not generated yet.

You can also select the row to open the payslip in a new browser tab.

Downloading P11 Reports

You need Download My P11 Report. If you do not have it, the row menu does not include this action.

Open the three-dot menu on a row.

Select Download P11 Reports.

Plumm downloads a PDF named P11-{your full name}-{cycle name}.pdf.

The P11 includes employer name, PAYE reference, accounts office reference, tax year, your name, date of birth, National Insurance number, tax code, location, division, cost centre, entity, start date, leaving date, and a Brought Forward row plus cycle rows up to the selected cycle.

Exporting the list

Use the grid export control.

Plumm downloads MyPayroll.xlsx.

The worksheet name is MyPayroll. The grid export file name setting is Payslips, but the saved file is MyPayroll.xlsx.

The three-dot menu actions column is not included in the export.

Payslip email

If Email Payslips is Enabled on the payroll, Plumm can email you when a payslip is ready.

The subject is Your Payslip is Ready.

The body starts with Your payslip for {cycle name} is now ready and available for download on Plumm. Please click below to access and download it via 'My Payroll'.

If Enable Password Protection is Enabled and Password To Use is DOB, the email also says The password for the attached PDF is your first and last initials followed by your date of birth. Then So if your name is Michael Caine and your date of birth is 14th March 1933 then your password would be MC19330314.

If Password To Use is NI, the email also says The password for the attached PDF is your NI Number.

The email does not add those password sentences for Custom.

The button label is Download Payslip. It opens My Money.

The closing line is If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us.

Release Type on admin Settings is Immediate or Scheduled.

Immediate

The salary slip will be processed and available within 24 hours. That note is shown next to Release Type when Immediate is selected.

Scheduled

Uses Day After Payrun, Time, and Time Zone.

The My Payroll grid lists payslips that already have a file. It does not re-check Email Payslips on the grid itself.
