Before you begin

  • Ensure you have permissions to edit candidate profiles.
  • Only users with appropriate access will be able to see the Candidate Pool and make edits

Step 1. Access the Candidate Pool

  1. Go to the Hire section in your Plumm dashboard.
  2. Select Candidate Pool from the left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2.  Edit Candidate's Information

  1. Find the candidate whose resume you want to update.
  2. Click the three dots (Action button) next to their name.
  3. Select Edit from the dropdown menu to open the Edit Candidate screen.

Step 3.  Upload the New Resume

  1. Scroll down to the Attachment section in the Edit Candidate form.
  2. Click the Upload button below the Attachment label.
  3. Choose the new resume file from your computer.
  4. Click Save to confirm and update the candidate’s resume.

1. Who can re-upload a candidate's resume?

Only users with appropriate permissions can edit candidate profiles. Ensure you have been granted editing access for this feature.


2.  Can I replace an existing resume with a new one?

Yes, you can easily replace the existing resume by following the steps above to upload a new file under the Attachment section.


3. What file formats are supported for uploading resumes?

Typically, PDF and Word document formats are supported for uploading resumes. If your file isn’t uploading, check its format or file size.


4. Do I need to re-upload other candidate information when editing?

No, you only need to upload the resume file. Any other details can remain unchanged unless you choose to edit them as well.
 


5. How can I check if the resume upload was successful?

After saving, you can review the candidate's profile to ensure the new resume is visible under the File section.


 

6. What happens if I don’t save the changes?

If you do not click Save, the uploaded resume will not be updated, and any other changes made to the candidate profile will not be saved.
