Before you begin

Before using the Rejected Timesheet page, ensure you have the correct permissions. Since timesheets are permission-based, you must have the necessary access to view and manage your rejected timesheet data.

Step 1.Select the timesheet period

At the top of the Rejected Timesheet page, you will find a date picker field. This allows you to select the timesheet period you wish to work on:
  • If you have a monthly timesheet policy, a monthly grid will appear.
  • If you have a weekly timesheet policy, a weekly grid will appear.
This grid will display data only if your timesheet has been rejected. If the timesheet is not rejected, no data will be shown for that period.

Step 2. View rejected timesheet data

If the selected timesheet is rejected, the data for that period will be displayed. This includes:
  • The tasks you had worked on during the timesheet period.
  • A status indicator showing that the timesheet has been rejected.

Step 3. Add and manage tasks

If your timesheet is rejected, you will see an Add Task button on the page.
  1. Click the Add Task button to open a side popup.
  2. In the popup, you will be prompted to select:
    • Project: Choose the project associated with the task.
    • Task: Select the task related to the project.
Once both fields are selected and saved, the task will be added to the grid below.

Entering Hours

  • Depending on whether you have a weekly or monthly timesheet, the corresponding days will be displayed.
  • You can enter the number of hours worked for each day.
    • For example, if you worked 8 hours on a particular day, enter 8 hours for that date.
    • Complete this process for the entire week or month, as required.

Step 4. Correct and submit your timesheet

Once you’ve added the necessary tasks and entered your hours, you can submit your timesheet. If the timesheet is still in the rejected status, follow these steps:
  1. Revoke Timesheet: If you realize there’s an error, you can revoke the timesheet to correct wrong data before resubmitting. This option is available under the three-dot menu on the left-hand side.
  2. Submit the Timesheet: After making corrections, click the Submit button to submit the entire week or month timesheet. All data entered on a daily basis will be auto-saved.

Step 5. View task details

The timesheet grid includes a View option for each task. Clicking this will open a side popup showing detailed information about the task:
  • Time Period: The start and end dates for the task in the rejected timesheet period.
  • Project: The project associated with the task.
  • Task: The name of the task.
  • Billable: Whether the task is billable or non-billable.
  • Hours Spent: The total hours logged for that task during the period.
You can also delete the added task from this view if needed.

Step 6. Access the timesheet menu options

On the left-hand side of the page, you will find a three-dot menu with the following options:
  • Revoke Timesheet: If you need to make corrections after submitting a timesheet, use this option to revoke the timesheet for revisions.
  • Submit Time-off: Use this option to request time off for a specific period.

Timesheet Summary Fields

At the top of the page, four summary fields are displayed to give you an overview of your timesheet:
  • Billable: The total number of billable hours for the timesheet period.
  • Non-Billable: The total number of non-billable hours for the timesheet period.
  • Total: The sum of both billable and non-billable hours for the period.
  • Time Off Hours: Displays the total hours taken off during the period (if applicable).
Additionally, the Status field shows whether the timesheet is Rejected.
