Remove a Widget from the Dashboard

Summary

Super Admins can remove any widget from a dashboard by using the customise option. Once deselected and saved, the widget will no longer appear for users on that dashboard.

Before you begin

  • Only Super Admins can remove widgets
  • Widgets are removed per dashboard (e.g. Team, User)
  • Changes take effect immediately for all users on that dashboard

Step 1. Open dashboard customisation

  1. Click the dashboard dropdown (e.g. “Team Dashboard”)
  2. Click Customise Your Dashboard
  3. A list of all available widgets will be shown

Step 2. Deselect and save widget

  1. Find the widget you want to remove
  2. Untick the checkbox next to it
  3. Click Save Changes
  4. The widget will be removed from the dashboard for all users

1. Will users still be able to access the removed feature?

Yes. Removing a widget only hides it from the dashboard. Users can still access the feature from its main module (if they have permission).


2 . Can I remove widgets from multiple dashboards?

Yes. You can switch dashboards from the dropdown and customise each one separately.


 

3. Can other roles remove widgets?

No. Only Super Admins can remove or edit dashboard widgets.


4. Is this change permanent?

No. You can re-add the widget anytime by going back to Customise Your Dashboard and selecting it again.
