Before you begin

To reschedule a therapy appointment, make sure that:
  • You are logged in to your Plumm account.
  • You have an upcoming therapy session scheduled.
  • The session is more than 24 hours away, as therapy sessions cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the start time.

Step 1: Navigate to Therapy sessions

  1. Log in to your Plumm account.
  2. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top-left corner of your dashboard.
  3. Select Wellbeing.
  4. From the left-side menu, click on the Therapy tab.
  5. The Therapist Upcoming Sessions section will appear, showing your scheduled therapy sessions and remaining session count.


Step 2. Open the reschedule option

  1. In the Therapist Upcoming Sessions section, find the therapy session you want to reschedule.
  2. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the session.
  3. Select Reschedule.
If the session is within 24 hours, a message will appear stating that the session cannot be rescheduled.

Step 3. Select a new date and time

  1. On the Reschedule Appointment screen, click Select a Date.
  2. Choose a new available date from the dropdown list.
  3. Click Select a Time.
  4. Select one of the available time slots for the chosen date.
Only dates and times that are available for the therapist will be shown.
 

 

Step 4. Add a reschedule reason

  1. In the Reschedule Reason field, enter a short explanation for rescheduling.
    • Example: Schedule conflict or Timing not suitable.
This helps keep the therapist informed about the change.

Step 5. Confirm or cancel the reschedule

  1. Review the updated date, time, and reason.
  2. Click Reschedule to confirm the change.
    • Both you and the therapist will receive an email with the updated appointment details.
  3. Click Cancel if you decide not to proceed.


Rescheduling rules and limitations

  • Therapy sessions cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time.
  • Only upcoming therapy sessions can be rescheduled.
  • Past sessions cannot be modified.
  • Available dates and times depend on the therapist’s availability.

1. Can I reschedule a therapy session within 24 hours of the appointment?

No. Therapy sessions cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time.


2. Will my therapist be notified if I reschedule?

Yes. Once rescheduled, both you and the therapist will receive an email with the updated session details.


3. Can I cancel a therapy session instead of rescheduling it?

Yes. You can select Cancel from the session menu if you no longer wish to attend the session.



4. Why don’t I see any available time slots?

This usually means the therapist has no availability on the selected date. Try choosing a different date.
 

 

5. Can I reschedule my therapy session more than once?

Yes, as long as the session is outside the 24-hour restriction window.
