Before you begin

  • Ensure you are logged into your Plumm account.
  • You must have access to the candidate's profile.
  • You must have permission to send messages via the platform.

Step 1: Compose a message

  1. Navigate to the Candidate Overview page.
  2. Click on the Messages tab.
  3. Click the New Message button to open the email composer.
  4. In the To field, select or search for the candidate you want to send the message to.
  5. Fill in the Subject field with an appropriate subject (e.g., "Job Opportunity at [Company Name]").
  6. Write the body of your email, providing any necessary context or information.

Step 2: Save the draft

  1. Once you have composed your message, look for the Draft button at the top right of the message composer.
  2. Click the Draft button to save the message as a draft.
  3. The message will be saved and you will see a confirmation that it has been stored for later use.

Step 3: Access and send the draft later

  1. Go back to the Messages tab of the candidate's profile.
  2. If you have any saved drafts, they will appear in the list of messages.
  3. Click on the draft to open it, review the message, and make any necessary changes.
  4. Once ready, click the Send button to send the email to the candidate.

Yes, you can open the saved draft, edit the content, and send it once you're ready.

If you no longer need a draft, you can delete it by opening the draft and clicking the trash icon (usually next to the Draft button).
