Send Bulk Email to Candidates

You can send a bulk email to candidates from the Hire pipeline in PlumHR. This is helpful for scheduling interviews, sharing updates, or sending job descriptions—all in one go.

Before you begin
To use this feature, you need the following:
- Access to the Hire module
- Access to the Job you are emailing for
- Send Message permission enabled on your role
Step 1. Select candidates
- Go to Hire from the main menu
- Open the job pipeline (e.g., Sales Account Director)
- Select one or more candidates using the checkbox on their card
Step 2. Click Action > Send Email
- Click the Action button in the top-right
- Choose Send Email from the dropdown menu
Step 3. Compose and send your message
- In the Email Candidates popup, choose an Email Template (optional)
- Add or remove recipients if needed
- Fill in the Subject and Body
- (Optional) Toggle Attach job description to include the job role
- (Optional) Click Add Attachment to include files (max size 5 MB)
- Click Send to email each selected candidate individually
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1.Will candidates see each other in the email?
No. Emails are sent individually to each selected candidate.
2 . Can I use email templates?
Yes. You can select a saved template from the dropdown at the top of the email popup.
3. Where can I see replies from candidates?
Replies appear under each candidate’s Overview > Message page, or in the Message tab of the job.
4.Why don’t I see the Send Email option?
Make sure you have both Job access and the Send Message permission. Contact your admin if needed.
5.Can I add attachments to the email?
Yes. You can upload files up to 5 MB using the Add Attachment option in the email popup.
