Before you begin
- You can send a Create Password Email to users who have not yet set a password for their account.
- This feature is typically used when a user is newly added, or their account is pending password setup.
Step 1. Sending the Create Password Email
- In the My People section, locate the user who has not set a password for their account.
- Click on the Action button (three dots) next to the user’s name.
- Select Send Create Password Email from the drop-down menu.
- The system will send an email to the user with a link to set their password.
Step 2. Handling users who have already set a password
- If you attempt to send the Create Password Email to a user who has already set their password, a pop-up message will appear.
- The pop-up will inform you that the user has already signed up.
- It will also provide an option to reset the password if needed.
- If you need to reset the user’s password, click Reset Password, and the system will send an email with a link to create a new password.
