Before you begin

  • Ensure you are logged into your Plumm account.
  • You must have access to the candidate's profile and their email address.
  • Ensure you have permission to send emails via the platform.

Step 1: Compose a new email to the candidate

  1. Go to the Candidate Overview page.
  2. Click on the Messages tab.
  3. Select the New Message button to open the email composer.
  4. In the To field, select or search for the candidate you want to send the email to.
  5. Fill out the Subject field with an appropriate subject (e.g., "Job Description for [Job Title]").
  6. Write the body of your email, providing any context or instructions for the candidate.

Step 2: Attach the job description to the email

  1. Scroll below the message body to find the Attach job description toggle.
  2. Enable the toggle. The job description will be automatically attached as a PDF file.
  3. If you need to attach other files, click the Add Attachment button and select additional files (up to 5MB per file).
  4. You will see the Job Description displayed as a PDF file, e.g., JobDescription.pdf (file size and type).

Step 3: Send the email to the candidate

  1. Double-check the recipient, subject, and attached job description.
  2. Click the Send button to send the email with the job description to the candidate.

1. How do I attach the job description to the email?

Simply enable the Attach job description toggle, and the job description will be automatically added as a PDF file.

2 . Can I send additional files with the job description?

Yes, you can attach other files by clicking the Add Attachment button below the message body.


 

3. What is the file size limit for attachments?

Each file you attach must be under 5MB in size.


4. Can I send the same job description to multiple candidates at once?

Yes, you can select multiple candidates from the Search Candidate bar and send the job description to them in bulk.


5. Can I edit the email after it is sent?

Once an email is sent, it cannot be edited. You will need to send a follow-up email if you need to make any corrections.
