Before you begin

  • You need to be logged in to your Plumm account.
  • You must have access to the candidate's profile.
  • You must have the necessary permissions to send messages from the platform.

Step 1: Send a message

  1. Navigate to the Candidate Overview section.
  2. Click on the Messages tab.
  3. Click the New Message button to open the message composer.
  4. In the To field, select or search for the candidate you want to send the message to.
  5. Fill out the Subject field with the topic of your message.
  6. Write the body of the message in the provided text box.

Step 2: Attach job description and files

  1. Scroll down below the message body to find the Attach job description toggle.
  2. Enable the toggle to attach a job description if required.
  3. Click Add Attachment to attach any other files (up to 5MB).
  4. Select the desired file(s) from your computer to upload.

Step 3: Filter candidates' emails

  1. Use the Search Candidate bar to filter and select candidates based on specific criteria (e.g., name, job role).
  2. You can send the same message to multiple candidates by selecting them in the search results.

 Yes, you can attach multiple files, but each file must be under the 5MB size limit.

Yes, you can search and select multiple candidates to send the same message to.

 

3. How do I attach a job description to the message?

 Simply toggle the "Attach job description" option below the message body, and the job description will be added to the message automatically.

4. What is the file size limit for attachments?

The maximum size for each file attachment is 5MB.

5. Can I choose multiple colours for different sections of the platform?

Once a message is sent, it cannot be edited or deleted. You may have to send a follow-up message if changes are needed.
