Set Up Branding During Onboarding

When a Super Admin sets up their PlumHR account, they can personalise the company’s appearance by selecting a theme colour and uploading a logo. These branding choices apply across the platform for all users.

Before you begin

Only users with the Super Admin role can access the branding options during onboarding. To update branding later, users must have permission to access Admin > Settings > General Settings > Branding.

Step 1. Set branding during onboarding

  1. After setting your password, click Activate to begin the onboarding flow
  2. On the branding screen, select your theme colour:
    • Choose from the visible colour options, or
    • Click the colour picker to select a custom shade
  3. Click Next to proceed to logo upload
  4. Upload your company logo
  5. Confirm the changes to apply them
Once completed:
  • All added users will see the selected theme colour and logo in their dashboard
  • The logo will appear at the top right of the screen

Step 2. Update branding later from settings

  1. Go to Admin from the left-hand menu
  2. Click Settings, then General Settings
  3. Select the Branding tab
  4. Update your theme colour or upload a new logo
  5. Click Save to apply changes for all users

1. Who can set or change the branding?

Only Super Admins can set branding during onboarding. To change branding later, a user must have permission to access Admin > Settings > General Settings > Branding.

2 . Will the branding changes affect all users?

Yes, the selected theme colour and logo will appear across all user dashboards in the organisation.

 

3. Can we customise the theme colour beyond the preset options?

Yes. You can use the colour picker during onboarding or in branding settings to select a custom colour.

4. Where is the logo displayed in the application?

The logo is shown at the top right corner of the dashboard for all users.
