Take Actions from the Team Dashboard

Summary

Managers and Admins can take quick actions directly from the Team Dashboard. Each widget includes an action menu so users can view details, update statuses, or complete tasks without navigating to other pages.

Before you begin

 You must be a Manager or Admin with access to the Team Dashboard and permission for the relevant modules (e.g. Reviews, Tasks, Leave, Hiring).

Step 1. Access your Team Dashboard

  1. Go to the dashboard page after login
  2. Click the dropdown at the top (e.g. User Dashboard)
  3. Select Team Dashboard from the list

Step 2. Use action menus within widgets

  1. Each widget shows relevant team data—e.g. reviews due, task progress, upcoming joiners
  2. Hover over an entry and click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the right
  3. Choose from available actions such as:
    • Mark as complete or overdue
    • View full review form
    • Navigate to profile or task page
  4. Your actions will update the widget and reflect in the connected module

1. Who can see the action menus on the dashboard?

Only users with permission to manage that widget’s data—typically Managers, Admins, or HR roles.


2 . What kind of actions can I take from the dashboard?

You can mark tasks complete, view or update reviews, check leave balances, and manage hiring stages depending on the widget.


 

3. Will actions taken here update the full system?

Yes. Any update made via the dashboard widget reflects across Plumm—e.g., completing a task or changing review status.


4. Why don’t I see the action button?

You may not have the required permissions for that widget. Contact your Super Admin or HR to request access.


5. Can I track who made the changes?

Yes. All actions are logged in the related modules with timestamps and user info, where applicable.
