Before you begin
- Managers, Admins, and Super Admins have access to the Team Device tab.
- This tab enables users to manage device allocation within their team, approve or reject requests, and track devices assigned to team members.
View Team Devices
Managers and Admins can view all devices assigned to their team members, including the device’s current condition, status, and assignment history.
- Filters: You can filter by department, device type, or request status.
- Team Devices Overview: The view shows which team members hold which devices and their current status (e.g., Assigned, Under Repair).
Requesting Devices on Behalf
Managers can request devices for their direct reportees:
- Request Form: The manager fills out the device request form, including the type of device, reason for request, priority, and notes.
- Admin/Super Admin can request devices for any employee across the organization.
Approving/Rejecting Requests
Managers, Admins, and Super Admins act as approvers for device requests:
- Approval Flow: Device requests go through an approval process. Requests can be approved or rejected based on role, location, or device policy.
- Multi-level Approvals: Some requests may require multi-level approval (e.g., Manager → IT Admin → Finance).
Team Request Visibility
Managers can see the status of pending, approved, or denied requests for their team members:
- Status Indicators: Devices requested, under review, approved, or rejected are tracked in real time.
- Request History: Managers can see a history of previous device requests for team members.

1.Can Managers request devices for employees outside their team?
No, Managers can only request devices for their direct reportees. However, Admins and Super Admins can request for any employee.
2.How do I approve a device request?
You can approve a request by clicking on the ‘Approve’ button within the request details. If the request does not meet the criteria, click ‘Reject’ to deny it.
