Team Tasks widget on the Team Dashboard

Summary

 The Team Tasks widget shows managers a real-time view of their reportees’ pending tasks, including deadlines and completion status. Managers can also take direct actions such as marking tasks complete or reviewing details.

Before you begin

  • This widget is only visible on the Team Dashboard.
  • You must be a Manager, Admin, or Super Admin with team task permissions.

Step 1. View tasks assigned to your team

  1. Go to the Team Dashboard
  2. Scroll to the Team Tasks widget
  3. View each team member’s tasks grouped under their name
  4. See task status (e.g., Overdue), total task count, and task type

Step 2. Take action on a task

    1. Click the three-dot menu next to the task
    2. Select an action:
      • Mark Complete – update the status of a finished task
      • View Description – see task details
      • Activity Logs – view history
      • Delete – remove the task from the list
    3. To see all tasks, click View All to open the full Team Task module

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    1. Who can see the Team Tasks widget?

     Only Admins, Managers, and Super Admins with reporting access can view this widget.

    2 .Can I add a new task from the widget?

    No, this widget is for task visibility and actions only. To create a new task, go to the Team Task module.


     

    3. What does the task count mean?

    It shows the total number of tasks currently assigned to each team member, including completed and overdue ones.


    4. Can I edit task details from here?

    You can view the description, mark complete, or delete a task. To edit task content, go to the full task module.
