Before you begin

To update a candidate’s experience, you must have permission to access the Candidate Pool in the Hire module. This action is typically available to Admins by default. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your system administrator for assistance.

Step 1. Access the Candidate Profile

  • Go to Hire > Candidate Pool
  • You will be directed to the Candidate Pool page, where all candidates are listed.

Step 2. Edit Candidate Profile

  • In the Candidate Pool section, locate the candidate whose experience you want to update.
  • Click the action button (three dots) next to the candidate's name to open the Edit Candidate profile view.
  • The candidate's details will open in a pop-up or sidebar where you can modify their information, including their experience.

Step 3.Update the Candidate's Experience

  • Once the profile editor is open, locate the Experience field.
  • To edit the experience: Simply click in the Experience field and update the number of years or add a more accurate value based on the candidate’s career history.
  • After making the changes, click Save to ensure the updated experience is saved.

1. What happens if I update a candidate’s experience?

After updating the candidate’s experience, the new information will be reflected in their profile, ensuring all future assessments and communications use the correct experience details.
 

2 .Can I edit the experience for multiple candidates at once?

No, experience must be updated individually for each candidate. Bulk editing of experience is not supported.


3. What if I enter the wrong number of years for a candidate’s experience?

If the wrong value is entered, you can simply follow the same steps to correct it by re-editing the candidate’s profile.
 

4. Can candidates update their own experience in the system?

No, candidates cannot directly update their experience. This update must be done by an admin or a user with the necessary permissions.
 

 

5.Does updating experience affect other sections of the candidate’s profile?

No, updating the experience will not affect other sections of the candidate’s profile. All other information remains unchanged.
