Before you begin

To update a candidate’s gender, you must have permission to access the Candidate Pool in the Hire module. This action is typically available to Admins by default. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your system administrator for assistance.

Step 1. Access the Candidate Profile

  • Go to Hire > Candidate Pool
  • You will be directed to the Candidate Pool page, where all candidates are listed.

Step 2. Edit Candidate Profile

  • In the Candidate Pool section, locate the candidate whose gender you want to update.
  • Click the action button (three dots) next to the candidate's name to open the Edit Candidate profile view.
  • The candidate's details will open in a pop-up or sidebar where you can modify their information, including gender.

Step 3.Update the Candidate's Gender

  • Once the profile editor is open, locate the Gender field.
  • To edit the gender: Click on the dropdown menu next to Gender and select the appropriate gender from the available options:
    • Male
    • Female
    • Non-Binary
    • Not Listed
    • Transgender
  • After selecting the correct gender, click Save to update the candidate's profile.

1. What happens if I update a candidate’s gender?

After you update the candidate’s gender, their profile will reflect the updated gender information for all future records and communications.
 

2 .Can I edit the gender for multiple candidates at once?

No, gender must be updated individually for each candidate. Bulk editing of gender is not supported.


3. What if I make a mistake while updating the gender?

If you accidentally select the wrong gender, you can simply follow the same steps again to correct it. You can update the gender as needed.
 

4. Can candidates update their gender themselves?

Candidates cannot directly update their gender in the system. This update must be made by an admin or someone with the necessary permissions.
 

 

5.Does the gender update affect other sections of the candidate’s profile?

No, updating the gender will not affect other sections of the candidate’s profile. The rest of the information remains intact.
