Before you begin
To update a candidate’s location, you must have permission to access the Candidate Pool in the Hire module. This action is typically available to Admins by default. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
Step 1. Access the Candidate Pool
- Go to Hire > Candidate Pool
- You will be directed to the Candidate Pool page, where all candidates are listed.
Step 2. Edit Candidate Profile
- In the Candidate Pool section, locate the candidate whose location you want to update.
- Click the action button (three dots) next to the candidate's name to open the Edit Candidate profile view.
- The candidate's details will open in a pop-up or sidebar where you can modify their information, including location.
Step 3.Update the Candidate's Location
- Once the profile editor is open, locate the Location field.
- To edit the location:
- Simply type the updated city, state, or country directly into the Location field. Since this is a free text field, you can input any text based on the candidate’s current location.
- After making the changes, click Save to ensure the updated location is saved.

1. Can I add multiple locations for a candidate?
Since the Location field is a free text field, you can only add one location at a time. However, you can type any location, including cities, regions, or countries, as needed.
2 .What happens if I update a candidate’s location?
After updating the location, the candidate's profile will reflect the new location for all future communications or assessments.
3. Can I edit the location for multiple candidates at once?
No, locations must be updated individually for each candidate. Bulk editing of locations is not supported.
4. What if I mistakenly type the wrong location?
If the wrong location is entered, simply re-edit the Location field by typing the correct information.
5.Can candidates update their own location?
No, candidates cannot directly update their location in the system. This update must be made by an admin or someone with the necessary permissions.

No, updating the location will not affect any other sections of the candidate’s profile. All other information remains intact.
