View insights on a job

Summary
Plumm Hire allows you to view job-level hiring metrics from the Insights tab. Review applicant data, hiring progress, sources, trends, candidate experience, gender distribution, and locations for an individual job.

Before you begin

To view job insights, you need:

  • Hire included in your organisation’s contract.
  • View Job Insights permission.
  • Access to Jobs, such as View All Jobs permission.

Important note:

  • Open Hire from the 9-dot menu. The control label is Apps.

Opening Insights

Open job insights:

  • Log in to Plumm.
  • Open the 9-dot menu. The control label is Apps.
  • Under PRODUCT SUITE, select Hire.
  • Select Jobs.
  • Open the required job.
  • Select Insights.

Important note:

  • If you do not have View Job Insights permission, the Insights tab is hidden.

Reading the cards

The Insights tab displays job-level hiring metrics.

Total Applicants

Shows the total number of applicants for the role.

Tooltip:

  • Total number of applicants for the role, including rejected candidates.

Additional details:

  • Can show an increase this week with a percentage.

Offers Sent

Shows offer activity and conversion details.

Tooltip:

  • Counts offers made to candidates and shows the interview-to-offer conversion rate.

Additional details:

  • Shows:
    • Interview to offer rate
  • Displays:
    • 0% until data exists.

Candidate Hired

Shows hiring outcomes for the job.

Tooltip:

  • Tracks the number of hires made and the rates of offers to hires and applications to hires.

Additional metrics:

  • Offer to hire rate
  • Applicant to hire rate

Sources

Shows where candidates have come from.

Tooltip:

  • Displays the recruitment channels and the number of candidates from each source.

If no data exists:

  • Plumm shows:
    • Nothing to show here yet.

Application Trends

Shows application activity over time.

Tooltip:

  • Lays the daily trends of job applications.

If no data exists:

  • Plumm shows:
    • Nothing to show here yet.

Gender

Shows applicant gender distribution.

Tooltip:

  • Breaks down applicant gender identity for diversity insights.

Experience

Shows candidate experience distribution.

Tooltip:

  • Shows the distribution of candidates' years of experience across the applicant pool.

Locations

Shows applicant distribution by location.

Tooltip:

  • View applicant distribution by location. Hover over for details.

    • Nothing to show here yet.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Is Insights the same as Overview?
    No. Insights is available for an individual job. Overview is the main Hire dashboard available from the Hire sidebar at /hire/overview.
  • Does Total Applicants include rejected candidates?
    Yes. The Total Applicants tooltip states that it includes rejected candidates.
