View Overtime Activity Log

Summary

 Managers and approvers can view the full history of overtime requests using the Activity Log. This includes request details, status changes, comments, and actions like edits or deletions.

Before you begin

To access the Activity Log, you must:
  • Have permission to manage or approve overtime
  • Be assigned to the requester’s reporting line
  • Be logged into your Plumm account

Step 1.Open the activity log

  1. Go to Time > Team Attendance
  2. Click the Overtime Request tab
  3. Find the relevant overtime entry
  4. Click the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right-hand side
  5. Select Activity Log from the dropdown

Step 2. Review or take action

  1. In the Overtime Activity Log panel, you can view:
    • Overtime date and duration
    • Submission time
    • Notes added by the requester
    • Current status (e.g. Pending, Approved)
    • Approval or decline history with timestamps and names
  2. Click the three-dot icon (⋮) in the log window for more options
  3. Choose to:
    • Edit the request (if pending and editable)
    • Delete the request (irreversible action)

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    1. Can all users access the Activity Log?

     No. Only managers or users with approval permissions for attendance can view the Activity Log.
     

    2. Can I comment inside the activity log?

    This may vary by setup. In most cases, comments are visible but cannot be added directly in the log interface.

    3. Is deleted overtime recoverable?

    No. Once deleted, the overtime record is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
     

      

    4. Can I edit approved overtime?

    No. Only pending requests can be edited. For changes to approved entries, you’ll need to cancel and resubmit.
     

     

    5.Does the log include who approved or declined?

    Yes. The log captures each action, the user who performed it, and the date/time of the update.
