Why Can’t I See Certain Widgets on My Dashboard?

Summary

If you’re missing widgets on your dashboard, it’s likely due to access permissions. Widgets are only visible if your role includes access to the relevant modules or features in Plumm.

Before you begin

Widgets on your dashboard are linked to the features you have permission to use. Your access is defined by your user role (e.g. Employee, Manager, Admin) and what your organisation has enabled in Plumm.

Step 1. Understand how widget visibility works

  1. Each widget is tied to a specific feature or module (e.g. Courses, Leave, Reviews)
  2. If your role does not include access to that module, the widget will not appear on your dashboard
  3. Super Admins define who has access to which features and can update permissions if needed

Step 2. What to do if a widget is missing

  1. Identify which widget you were expecting to see (e.g. “My Goals”, “Mood Tracker”, “Team Leave Balance”)
  2. Check with your Super Admin to confirm whether that feature is available for your role
  3. If required, they can request access from the Super Admin

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why are some widgets missing from my dashboard?

You may not have permission to access the feature linked to the widget. Only users with the right role or access level will see certain widgets.

2 . Can I add a widget if I don’t see it?

No. Widgets are only available if you have access to the related module. Speak to your manager or admin to request access.

3. Do all users have the same widgets?

No. Widget visibility depends on your user role and the permissions set by your organisation.

4. I had access to a widget before—why is it gone now?

It’s possible that your role or access was updated, or the feature was disabled by your organisation’s admin team.
